Stamford Landing 

Directly off the foyer is a gourmet kitchen with cherry cabinets custom-built to the 9 foot ceilings to maximize storage space.  Cream Corian counters along the wall complement the custom Talavera tile. The center island with cherry pilasters and Persian granite has a curve-out for barstools, a bookcase and Thermador gas cook top with retractable vent. Hanging pewter lamps can be dimmed for mood lighting, the under-cabinet halogen lighting and all recessed lighting are strategically located to give the cook perfect lighting. The upgrade to gas was installed to enhance the cooking experience.  The walll of cabinets includes all wood-paneled, integrated appliances with a Sub-Zero refrigerator and Bosch dishwasher with hidden controls.  There is a stainless steel double Franke sink with pull-out faucet and a stainless steel GE Advantium Microwave/Halogen oven and Thermador electric convection oven.  The window seat at the bay window bathes the kitchen with light and has been tiled with complimentary Talavera tiles.  Opposite the ovens, the circuit breaker box was reversed to allow a floor-to-ceiling (9ft) pantry.

Colors and painting treatments are decorator designed throughout.  The powder room off the foyer compliments the kitchen island and the kitchen cabinets with its cherry vanity and pewter hardware. The countertop and flooring are marble. The faux finish walls have been glazed to give depth and warmth to the first floor. To the left of the foyer is a large custom built landing.

Oak hardwood floors and crown moldings were installed on the entire first floor. The hardware on all the doors was upgraded to Baldwin.  An entertainment center was built by a master cabinetmaker to encompass an entire wall for a large, flat screen TV and home theatre with infrared electronic control system. The moveable shelves are illuminated by xenon lighting. The woodwork continues the trim colors of the house and the top echoes the cherry from the kitchen cabinets along with their pewter hardware. A custom fireplace mantel surrounds the gas fireplace. The first floor California closet stores both coats and functions as a pantry.

Outside is a private patio, with a quiet grassy yard totally ensconced behind attractive privacy fencing and evergreen trees and shrubs.

All windows throughout have custom wood blinds and the slider has custom Silhouettes which tilt so as to allow filtered light or darkening and privacy. A built- in vacuum system is installed on all three floors. There is a burglar/fire/smoke alarm system which can be utilized with a central station. 

Heating throughout has been increased and upgraded by the installation of a heat exchanger in the air conditioning duct to augment heat; additional extra heating fins and high efficiency baseboard units and additional units along with insulation in walls and ceilings and replacing recessed lights with insulated, sealed models make this one of the most energy efficient and comfortable Townhouses in the complex.. Windows facing South on all three floors have Sunshield window coating to reduce cooling and heating costs. 

The second floor was upgraded to oak hardwood floors as well.  There is a deep linen closet and a laundry room with a high-efficiency Bosch washer and dryer. 

The Master bedroom, facing the tranquil trees and back yard lawn, has vaulted ceilings with upgraded low E glass opening skylights.  There are two separate, California closets.  Large triple windows and another transom window make it an exceptionally bright and airy room.  The master bath has upgraded cherry double vanity with drawers and two sinks with pewter hardware and faucets.  There is a shower and double Jacuzzi jet tub with glass sliders. The counters, tub walls and flooring are marble.

The guest bedroom, with its distinctive faux-finish walls has a roomy double closet.  There are double windows as well as a transom window.  The guest bath, also with a cherry vanity has marble floors, countertops and bath walls.

Above the landing, is the stairway to the large, third floor bedroom, office or study.  It has vaulted ceilings, low E opening skylights and a large window for wonderful light.  A large closet was added for extra storage; also potential for a third bath.

The garage, opposite the front door, has built-in storage shelving.  The full basement below has ample common storage plus there is an approx. 25 X 18, personal, locked storage area.
